Paul Vernon Smith is an accomplished guitar player who excels when challenged with a new style or is required to emulate another player's unique qualities. He first picked up a guitar in high school in America and has played in bands around Derby and the East Midlands ever since.

Paul plays a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) 25th Anniversary SE Custom 24 guitar and a Fender Telecaster. He uses Blackstar amplification and TC Electronic G Major effects.
